LOUGHINISLAND GAC has been accredited with the Club Maith bronze award following eight months’ diligent work which comprised 62 separate pieces of evidence.
Significant contributions have been made by many people within the club, especially Paul McMullan, who has been the driving force behind gaining this accreditation. This accolade is an essential springboard for grant aid to improve club facilities and is recognised by Sport NI.
The Executive Committee would like to thank all those who made a contribution towards attaining this award. It is an outward sign of the significant progress being made in relation to good governance within the club.
This is central to The Blue Wave, the club’s five-year plan, which is about to enter its second year. An application will now be made to Ulster GAA for the silver award preparation, which is well advanced.
