Loughinisland GAC is one of Down’s leading GAA clubs and is based at Macartan Park, Teconnaught Road Loughinisland. The club has circa 400 full members, mainly from the Loughinisland parish and provides opportunities for participation in Gaelic Games for all from children of primary school age through to our senior men and women’s teams. The club is at the heart of the community and has excellent partnerships in place with all the local parish, schools and many other community organisations. You can read more about the history of the club under the club history tab on the web site.
Loughinisland GAC promotes Gaelic games and Irish culture with a focus on the principles of respect and inclusiveness. We seek to enrich the lives of our members, families and the community we serve through active life-long participation and the promotion of individual development and well-being. Our vision is that everybody has the opportunity to be welcomed to take part in our games and culture, to participate fully, to grow and develop and to be inspired to keep a lifelong engagement with our Association. We strive to develop and inspire our membership and the community at large to develop their personal skills on every level for the good of all.
