Loughinisland Bowling Club

Loughinisland Bowling Club is long-established and has a great track record in providing a friendly welcome to people of all ages in the community. The club practice and play their home games in the GAA club on Wednesday evenings and have proven very successful in bringing home numerous trophies while still maintaining their ethos of promoting enjoyment & a welcome for all.

Loughinisland Youth Drama Club  – LADS

Loughinisland GAC promotes both senior and junior drama with numerous very successful productions.

The Junior Loughinisland Amateur Dramatic Society aka the Wee L.A.D.S was launched in January 2016 and has proved so popular that it is necessary to run two groups to accommodate everyone.

Loughinisland Running Club – Loughinisland 5K Race & 3K Fun Run

Loughinisland GAC is now well established in the local athletics calendar for the annual road race and fun run in conjunction with East Down Athletics Club. The mid-week event is traditionally run during the last week in June and attracts serious athletes from well beyond the local area who come to enjoy our great facilities, hospitality, fabulous scenery and the challenging course. The shorter Fun Run & walk provides a great opportunity for athletes of all ages and abilities and has proven to be a great family event.

If you’re looking for a simple step to get you moving why not join the Loughinisland running club, members get together every Monday and Thursday at 7.30pm and everyone is welcome at every level.
